Tan Yingjie (b. 1992 Hunan) currently lives and works in Beijing. He graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2016. Tan’s recent practice has been dominated by space installations, involving a variety of media such as images, performance, and text. Exploring physical tactile sensations in space, Tan’s practices involve multiple personal experiences in different spaces to construct multiple narrative structures and spatial experiences.
